Tips.

Listeners can tip you during your show. You keep 60% of every tip.

Sponsorships.

When a brand sponsors your show, you keep 60% of the sponsorship revenue.

Oppovia's share covers streaming, payment processing, moderation and bringing new listeners to the platform. Presenters are independent creators, not employees, and are responsible for their own taxes.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Apply. Tell us about you and the show you want to host. It takes about five minutes.
  2. Get approved. A real person reviews every application. You'll hear from us within 24 hours.
  3. Create your show and request a slot. Choose a category, upload cover art and pick your broadcast time.
  4. Check in and go live. Open the studio on your phone at showtime and start talking. Real audio, real listeners.
  5. Earn. Tips and sponsorships go to your wallet. Withdraw when you're ready.

WHAT WE ASK OF YOU

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a stable internet connection and a working microphone. Your phone's earphones are enough to start.
  • Show up for your scheduled slots. Your listeners are counting on it.
  • Follow the Oppovia Community Guidelines.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

No. Applying, hosting and broadcasting are free. Oppovia earns only when you earn, by taking a share of tips and sponsorships.

We review every application by hand and aim to reply within 24 hours.

A clear idea for a show, a reason people would tune in, and a commitment to a regular slot. You don't need radio experience or an existing following, though both help.

A smartphone, a stable internet connection and a microphone. The earphones that came with your phone are fine to start. A quiet room matters more than expensive gear.

Life happens. Let us know in advance and we'll mark the slot as cancelled so your listeners aren't left waiting. Presenters who repeatedly miss slots without notice may lose them to someone on the waiting list.
